Procurement
Network Intelligence is usually employed
to manage all or part of the IT procurement process.
We convert project documentation into tender
format including main contractor preliminaries and other contractual
information.
The tender process generally produces more
refined and market based costings and it is towards the end of this exercise
that we are able to finalise the budgets.
NIL undertakes a vendor assessment programme in
conjunction with the Client's directives or the main contractor's guidelines.
In many cases the Client may have preferred contractors they wish to include on
the tender list or purely negotiate a contract with.
In other cases NIL is asked to provide names of
companies with whom it has worked with previously or whom it knows has
successfully delivered for other customers.
Network Intelligence manages the tender process
from issue to contract award, the final decision always residing with the
Client.
Once the Contractors proposals have been
accepted and we are able to finalise the budget, NIL prepares detailed
cash-flow information that is continually reported on a weekly or even daily
basis.
Ultimately Network Intelligence can take a
complete procurement brief from the Client; effectively acting as a main
contractor and single point of contractual responsibility.
